Last night we held our company's 20th birthday BBQ at the House of St Barnabas. In spite of it being June, the weather was very unkind and it poured with rain. However, this in no way dampened the spirits of the partygoers and it was universally agreed that this was our most successful party ever. This was down in large part to the stunning venue itself but also to the wonderful attitude of the staff at the House. They are welcoming, helpful and incredibly friendly; there is a fantastic team spirit and a feeling that everyone from the volunteers to the Chief Exec is pulling together for the common good. Many guests at our party wanted to know more about the House and its history and even more were interested in hiring the place for a party. I would have no hesitation in recommending the House of St Barnabas to anyone who wanted to hire this brilliant and unusual gem of a place!
